Today I did nothing. Well, almost nothing, I hayed horses this evening and picked some stalls. That was it, I didn't do laundry, vacuum, clean, worry about everything that needs done, nothing. Kylie was responsible really, she let me sleep in, made us something to eat and watched a movie with me and we all piled on the couch together relaxing. I'm off the rest of the week and after months of non stop working and keeping things going I am going to enjoy the house and the snow and get caught up on a few things including take some time to relax.
I worked late Monday, till 6:30 trying to help a loan to close, it didn't happen and I drove home in a some pretty bad snow and sleet. It was a long day and really made me appreciate being home for awhile.
The animals were happy to have me here and not running around like crazy. Tomorrow, there are several things to get done and there is they hay issue plus possibly finding a new place to board our two horses. With the weather being so bad and the shortage of hay it may be better if we moved them. I know how tough it is to take care of horses in the winter and what it takes to get it done, it may just be better to move them to a place that is better prepared and equipped to handle it until we can bring them home sometime. I don't mind the complete self care as long it's not a far drive so we shall see what is out there, I still want to have them in a small personal setting, I hate big barns, it's just too much with too many horses and people. I like simple.
